Sariska National Park

Location

For nature lovers, Sariska National Park would be an ideal holiday destination. People from all over the world come to visit this National Park. In the year 1955, this park was declared as a sanctuary. Later, it was under Project Tiger in the year 1979. Finally, it was declared as a National Park in the year 1979. Sariska National Park houses a few tigers along with great flora and fauna.

Ranthambhore National Park

Location

Standing out remarkably in an extensive denuded tract, the Ranthambhore National Park reflects a unique juxtaposition of historical and natural richness. It proffers a winding terrain with slopes, hills, steep ridges, hillocks, pebbly ravines and flat valleys. The park spreads over a vast expansion of 392 sq km and it happens to be the finest example for conservation of Tigers.

It is not just the tigers that make the park so special. The park is an exceptional place where history and the mother nature intertwined together to present a stunning spectacle. One cannot witness the astonishing scenery of spotting the wildlife under the roof of a superb architectural splendor of yesteryears. The remnant of the old fort inside the park has been reclaimed by the inhabitants of the park.

Wildlife Sanctuary

Established in 1960, the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary covers a large expanse of the Mount Abu forests and hilly regions of about 290 square kilometer. It is situated at north eastern side of Mount Abu. The highest peak Guru Shikhar in the Aravalli mountain ranges is situated in the region of the Sanctuary.

Location

A sprawling expansion of around 600 square kilometers Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary appeases the visitor with its varied verity of magnificient flora and fauna. Guarded by the strong Bastion fort, this asylum of rare and exotic species in the animal kingdom boasts of a colourful vista of forest.

Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary

Location

Gajner wild life sanctuary is situated 32kms from Bikaner on Jaisalmer road. The lush foliage of the woods here have a number of neelgais(blue bull), waterfowls, chinkara (black buck), particularly flocks of imperial sandgrouse and wild boar living here.It is considered as the prettiest place in the region, with a lake, a palace, wooded hills and gardens. The lake at Gajner attracts water birds in thousands, the imperial sand grouse from Siberia being the most important of these. Large herds of deers can be seen here grazing freely.
