Thousand fold spring' is the literal meaning of the term Sahastradhara. It is a lovely waterfall, with a depth of 9 meters. What makes the torrent so popular is its therapeutic value since its water contains Sulphur. Besides its medicinal merits, the stream presents a pictorial environ where one can spent hours in the calmness of silence. The Baldi River and the caves exaggerate the aesthetic beauty of the site.
The Corbett Waterfalls, a small but awesome view, is from a height of about 60 feet and is in the backdrop of scenic greenish forest. Full Moon light colored waterfall is really worth-while to observe. The area is admired as a camping site with a vast diversity of plants and birds.
The wide area around the water falls provides very good parking and camping facilities. It is a very nice picnic spot.
A near by attraction is ‘Nature Walk' museum, where one can experience the pure nature in its primitive style and calm.

It is the highest point of the mountain on which Chopta and Tungnath Mandir is located. Chandrashila is situated at a breathtaking altitude of 4,000mts above sea level. Invigorating views of the 270 degree Himalayan range is distinctly visible from Chandrashila. It is located 1.5 km further of Tungnath Temple which makes it 5kms from Chopta.

Perched at an elevation of 2438mts above sea level, Deoria Tal is a lake holding pristine water with captivating surroundings. The reflections of Chaukhamba peaks on the crystal clear water of Deoria Tal creats a magical world. Deoria Tal can be reached by an easy trek of 2km from Sari village located on Ukhimath – Gopeshwar road.
This is a small oblong lake with emerald green water. It is at an altitude of 5230 mts., near Kankul Pass(5230 mts.), and is almost a kilometer in length. Myriad blossoms decorate its banks during the season, a wildest profusion of colours make the trekker forget the hardships and the exhaustion of the trek.
Water falls have always captivated the human imagination. 5 Kms. from Mana village, toward the west is the Vasudhara fall with a sheer drop of 145 mtrs., set in a background of snowy peaks, glaciers and rocky heights. Violent wind sometimes sprays out the entire volume of the water falling and it appears that the water fall ceases for a minute or two, giving rise to a lot of superstitious ideas to the locals.
Tehri dam has been built on the union of river Bhagirathi and Bhilangana, giving birth to the marvellous Tehri Lake. The view of Tehri dam and lake is surely enthralling and surely worth a dekko.
Chilmiri Neck is one of the peak points in Chakrata where the mess and quarters of military cantonment is located. The place landscape is exquisite with the lush green lands and dense forests all around and offers languorous views of down valley. The cool and pleasant climate makes this place a much sought tourist spot.
69 kms from Dehradun on Delhi-Yamunotri road via Dehradun-Vikasnagar, is the serene and tranquil Moigad Fall. On the way to Yamunotri, one can bathe at the foot of the fall, which is a refreshing experience for all.
Simply fantastic water falls, Tiger falls is really the main attraction in Chakrata. An adventurous trek to the fall site is an enchanting experience. It is one of the highest waterfalls in India, originating at a height of about 312 ft. The view of the waterfalls is breathtaking and mesmerizing.
