Sambhavanath Temple

Location

A famous Jain temple located in the place Mool Sagar, Sambhavanath Temple is one of the many renowned Jain temples in Jaisalmer. This is dedicated to the Jain saint Sambhavanath, a revered Jain Tirtankar. A structure of Sambhavanath is installed inside the sanctum sanctorum. This temple is attracted by huge number of Jain followers and is considered as one of the nice place for spiritual uplift.

Shantinath Temple

Location

Shantinath temple, a real monument of 16th century Jain temples, is located interior to the Golden fort. This is one of the seven noted Jain temples enclosed inside the Jaisalmer fort and is founded in 1536 AD. Shantinath temple is a shrine dedicated to the Jain thirtankar, Shri Shantinath. A beautiful image of the Jain saint Shantinath crafted majestically adorns the temple.

Shitalnath Temple

Location

Shitalnath temple, the Jain temple built during th 16th century, is enclosed interior to Jaisalmer Fort. This is the one of the seven temples built during 15th and 16th centuries and is devoted to the Jain Prophet Shitalnath , the 10th Tirthankara,. Complex designs of pillars and carvings are really attractive.

Jain Mandir

Location

A marvelous shrine, which is synonymous with the Delwara Temples of Mount Abu, the Jain Mandir is a seven-storied structure, with huge spires. Construction of the temple took several phases and the last phase was probably completed in the 10th century. The principal deity of this sacred shrine is Lord Adinaath, whose image is believed to be 400 years old.

Lakshmi Narayan Temple

Location

Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi, Birla Mandir in the pink City exhibits contemporary architecture. Though the temple is named after the deities, it is rather known by the name Birla temple, since this was built by the corporate giants, Birla Foundation. Built in with glittering white marble, this temple presents an enthralling look. The chief deity in the temple gives an ethereal appeal since it is made up of a single piece of marble.
