Like the resplendent crown for a noble face, the snow clad Chanshal range rises above the Pabbar Valley. At 4520 m the Chanshal Pass remains open from May to October. The Chanshal area also has some excellent ski slopes.

Dominating the entire landscape of fields, forests and ravines is the Choordhar peak, which rises to 3,647 metres above sea level and is a trekking treat from Nahan walks. Approached by way of Dadahu, Sangarh, Bhawai, Gandhuri and Nahura it is a 50 km. trek. A less taxing journey is by taxi or car to Nahura and thereafter a walk of 16 km. The climb is difficult but rewarding. The peak offers a fine view in south of the Gangetic plains and the Satluj river and towards north the Badrinath, a well known Hindu pilgrim centre. Also seen are the hills of Chakrata and Shimla from the top.
The Renuka Lake (660 m) is regarded as the embodimezznt of Renukaji, the wife of sage Jamadagini and mother of Parshuram, one of the ten Avtars of Lord Vishnu. Shaped like a profile of a woman, the lake has the circumference of 2.5 km and is the largest in Himachal. This placid stretch of water is fed by underground springs and the surrounding hills are padded by lush forests that support a large variety of plant and animal life. Boating and trekking are the additional attractions of Renukaji, whose natural beauty has to be seen to be believed. This is perfect year around destination that beckons every traveler.
Dating before 1868, the Taal or pond forms the core of Pragpur village and serves as a recreational space for young and aged alike. It was constructed by the village brotherhood known as the Nehar Committee. The Taal is surrounded by many heritage structures-the Nehar Bhawan (Approx 250 years old); Naun (around 1864), a drinking water facility by Nehar Committee; Dhuni Chand Bhardial Serai (village inn) and Radha Krishna Mandir.
Jallori Pass, at an elevation of 3,550 m, is a beautiful place just 90 km from Narkanda. To reach here, you have to pass through the Sutlej Valley, crossing over to Luhri, Ani, and Khanag. A 30-minute walk from the Pass can bring you to Sarolsar Lake sited among deep forests.
At a distance of 5 km from Shoja is Jalori Pass, where you can go either by car or walk. The pass is only 5 km from Shoja, and is a must visit on your trip here. A Mahakali temple known as Jalori Mata here is visited by thousands of devotees from the nearby villages.
A natural peak with greenery everywhere and breezy environment, Shaily peak is one of the natural peaks in Naldehra. One can go straight to Shailey peak if feeling adventurous and enthusiastic for some trekking. The road to Shaily peak is memorable, the scenery around Khatnol is experiencing, and one can start climbing from this place, through steep trekking.
One can also experience a pony ride for reaching up to the peak. This is a nice peak for adventurous trekking and climbing. Also offers a lot of lusting greeneries around.
Choordhar peak is located nearby Nahan is an astounding 3650 m above the sea level and affords a magnificent view of the glorious mountain peaks and deep and beautiful valleys beneath. The panoramic view of the Gangetic plains, the bounding Sutlej, Pristine Badrinath, the spell binding Chakrata peak and Shimla from the top is breathtaking and memorable.
The royal family that ruled the region of Nahan had made special arrangements for his family entertainment and leisure.
