Tirtham Valley

Location

Tirthan Valley, 30 km from Shoja is one of the most beautiful places in Himachal Pradesh. This valley is paradise for holiday makers & adventure lovers, who wants to enjoy in the lap of the nature. The river here is extremely famous for trout fishing. This is unique place to experience the calm & spiritual ambience by the river side. Serolsar Lake

Location

Serolsar, a small lake located at about 3,050 meters is only 5 km from Jalori Pass. The marvelous views to the beautiful meadows with a curtain of the thick oak forests, offer plenty of opportunities for photography. This lake is tranquil and known for being the seat of local goddess Budhi Nagin. As per the legend this deity had one hundred sons as snakes. Pilgrims walk around the lake, pouring an unbroken line of ghee. This is a good place to set a camp.

The Ridge

Location

Located in the heart of Shimla, The Ridge road is a large open space which runs east to west alongside the Mall Road, and joins it at the Scandal point on the west side. On the east side, the Ridge road leads to Lakkar Bazaar, a wooden crafts market. The large water reservoir present at the Ridge acts as the main supply of Shimla town.

Shrikhand Peak

Location

Shrikhand Peak can be seen from across Sarahan. It is called the Shrikhand Mahadev Peak and is one of the adobe of Lord Shiva. At 5227 meters, this peak has a natural rock made Shivalingam called the Bhimadwan which is 72 feet in height and stands still at the mountain top. The Shivalingam is visible from Sarahan and is believed by devotees to be built by the mountain of a man, Bhima.

Shrikhand is also the parental abode of Goddess Lakshmi and therefore a pilgrimage route is made out for the same.

Sangla Valley

Location

If a landscape had the powers of casting spells, then the Sangla valley would be a magician extraordinary. Once seen, it is a place that can never be forgotten. Even the rushing waters of the Baspa river, that flow through its 95 km length, seem to absorb some of the magic and slow down to savor its snow-frame beauty. 2 km from Sangla is the fort of Kamru (300 m) its tower like architecture resembles that of the Bhima Kali complex and this was the origin of rulers of Bushehar. Chitkul (3450 m) is the last village of the valley and beyond lies Tibet.

Bhaba Valley

Location

The beautiful Bhaba Valley runs along the Bhaba River and is famous for the trek route from near Sarahan to Pin Valley in Spiti. Bhaba Valley's landscape includess a reservoir lake, wide meadows and pastures.

Bhaba Valley is located 50 kms from Sarahan and the link road to the valley originates at Wangtu.
