The Dada Saheb Phalke is the legendary figure who was the progressive spirit behind the century old Indian Cinema. A memorial to this great visionary, Dadasaheb Phalke Smarak is committed towards edifying, devout and rational development. The building contains a place for meditation, a main conference hall and an exhibition center. The Samarak also displays with an eloquent version of the works of the Dadasaheb Phalke.

Among the various grape producing areas of India, Nasik adorns a prominent position. The salubrious climate of this city is conducive for large-scale grape cultivation and one of the famous vineyards in Nasik is Sula Vineyards. From its formation in the year 1997, Sula has managed to complement itself with the reputation of India’s best wineries. Recent years have shown an amazing growth of these vineyards from the original 30-acre family estate to a vast spread of 1500 acres, which increases the winery’s total capacity to 5 million liters.

A multipurpose instrument used for detecting a variety of radio astrophysical problems Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT), is a unique facility provided by the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, a part of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bombay. Located near Pune in India, it is the world's largest radio telescope at meter wavelengths.

An institute of international acclaim, astronomers from all over the world frequently visit here and use the GMRT to observe many different astronomical objects such as galaxies, pulsars and supernovae

Marine Drive is an avenue with concreted six lane roads in the Arabian Coast and is officially known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road. This is a natural bay in C shape connecting Malabar hills and Nariman Point in Mumbai. The drive is constructed over the area reclaimed from the Arabian Sea.

The featured attraction of the Marine Drive is the well-maintained pathways, which is used by the public as a relaxing place in the evenings to have deep breath and calm surroundings. Lush green palm trees add more attraction to these beautiful pathways.

Reversing Station once belonged to the Railways, but now remains deserted and unused. It lies outside tunnel no. 26, on the rail route. The nearby regions and the city of Khopoli are visible from here. It presents an eye catchy site at night, when it is illuminated with hundreds of lights that bring it to life.

The world renowned apple Orchards, Chaubatia Orchards is located very close to Ranikhet and is very famous for their extensive orchards of tasty apples, peaches, plums and apricots. The astronomical observatory was established in Nainital in the year 1955. The observatory is currently located on Manora peak, about a km distance from Hanumangarthi by foot. A center for astronomical studies, artificial satellites can be tracked in the observatory.
