Parwat Vihar Park is located at a distance of 5 km from Jamtara Railway Station in the northern part of Jamtara. It is visited by most of the tourists travelling to Jamtara. It is an ideal zone for children. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from this park.

Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden, established in 1987, is home to different varieties of botanical species. Located near Rumtek Monastery, this garden houses rare flowers, plants and trees including Orchids of Himalayan region. Maintained and managed by the Forest Department of the Government of Sikkim, this garden also includes dense temperate forests of Oak. There are more than 50 different varieties of tree species located inside this garden.
Saramsa Garden, located at a distance of approximately 14 km from Gangtok, was established in 1922. The place was opened by the Forest Department, which was managed by the Forest Manager, Bhim Bahadur Pradhan from 1922 to 1954. Besides being the forester, owing to immense interest in botany, floriculture and horticulture, he was able to manage the garden well.
Lalong Park is situated in proximity to Jowai Town and is visited for its sacred groves and beautiful Pynthorwah Valley.
Gandhi Smriti Park, situated in Mangaldai, is an ideal picnic spot and has fountains and gardens. It is a well-maintained park which is situated near the District Collector's Office in Mangaldai.
The Botanical Garden, located 5 km from Diphu town near Marat Longri Sanctuary, has natural conservation of rare species of plants and trees. There is a semi-natural water body inside the garden which is suitable for boating.
Deul Park is located close to the city of Durgapur and is a very popular to spend a leisure time . It is located on the banks of the River Ajoy and comprises many water rides. A visit to the 800 years old Ichai Temple is the highlight of visiting this place. Tourists can enjoy great dining experience here.
