Hayat Bakhsh Bagh

Location

Hayat Bakhsh Bagh is popularly known as the 'Life Bestowing Garden' which is inside the premises of the Red Fort. This garden lies to the north of Moti Masjid and is divided into squares along with channels and causeways. It has two towers, namely Shah Burj and Asad Burj, out of which the former is attached to a pavilion built by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.

Buddha Jayanti Park

Location

At Palam-bound Sardar Patel Marg via Karol Bagh opp. Assam House is Buddha Jayanti Park founded on the auspicious eve of 2500 years of completion of Buddhas Great Salvation. A plant of Bodhi-Briksha was brought from Sri Lanka and planted in the commemorating park. The park is full of flowers and the garden is pleasant and charming for rest and walk. Ideal for picnic.

Phool Bagh

Location

Laid out as a formal garden, this complex testifies to the refined aesthetic qualities of the Bundelas. A central row of fountains culminates in an eight-pillared palace-pavilion. A subterranean structure below was the cool summer retreat of the Orchha kings. An ingenious systems of water ventilation connected the under ground palace with Chandan Katora, a bow-like structure from whose fountains droplets of water filtered through to the roof, simulating rainfall.

Ganesh Bagh

Location

Situated in the suburbs of Karwi town near Siddhapur, Ganesh Bagh, boast of a bygone splendor. In the early part of 19th century this garden was the hot spot of the then Peshwa Shri. Peshwa King Vinayak Rao. He constructed this regal garden as a summer retreat for his pleasure sporting activities.
