Lum Nehru Park

Location

Adjacent to the orchid lake resort in one of the surrounding spurs, there is a charming park. Besides beautiful lawns and flowers. There is also an orchid-house and an aviary. Plans are afoot to construct an aquarium and set-up musical fountains nearby.

Botanical Survey of India Orchidarium

Location

The Botanical Garden in the vicinity of the enchanting Ward Lake specializes in preservation and research of various species of vegetation especially those related to the Meghalaya region. The Botanical Garden has been successfully preserving and recreating some of the rare species. The Orchidarium of the Botanical Survey of India boasts of am amazingly rare collection of orchids. These Orchids have been obtained from remote location with an aim to provide a congenial atmosphere for these species to hold and grow their roots once again on the soil of Meghalaya.

Ecological Park

This was established in the year 1992. The park houses - Rock Garden, Hawa Ghar, Circular Path and Japanese Pond. Boating facility is also available in the park at the Loukoipat lake. Kakatiya Rock Garden

Location

This is a garden beautifully constructed to attract the tourists and is a relaxing place for local people and their kids. Kakatiya rock garden is located near the Fort temple and this beautiful garden encloses many structures in rocks which are lively, like the statues of deer, lion, giraffe, sambar, antelopes etc. This is a garden in which rocks are arranged and flowered plants are grown in a carefully designed and decorative lawn.

Playing grounds for children are also made operational here. Evenings are crowded here with local people spending leisure time and relaxing.

Kakatiya Musical Garden

Location

The Majestic Musical garden in Warangal is located nearby the famous Bhadrakali temple. The Garden is spread over a wide area of more than 15 acres. A visually pleasing musical fountain with eye catching colorful lights is the main attraction in this garden; the fountain is operated through computer. A mammoth rock and an artificial waterfall in the rock structure are placed as the background of Kakatiya Musical Garden.

VUDA Park (Taraka Rama)

Taraka Rama Park, popularly known as VUDA (Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority) Park, is a majestic attraction in Visakhapatnam and many tourists visit here mainly due to its amazing musical fountain. The park is designed and constructed by the VUDA and is in the close proximity of Ramakrishna Beach.

This is an ideal place for tourists especially children. Children can enjoy the Green playfields, lush green lawns, artificial caves, and flower gardens. Facilities for horse riding, skating and camel rides apart from boating are available in the park.

TTD Gardens

Location

A sprawling expansion of 460 acres of ornamental, flower and landscape gardens under the auspicious of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, TTD gardens is a flamboyant location in Tirumala. This garden supplies 500 kilograms of flowers daily to the various temples in and around Tirumala. It is responsible for the beautification of the temples on special occasions apart from providing the routine demands for flowers.

Deer Park

Location

Situated in the suburbs of Kandaleru city, Deer Park proffers some of the exciting moments to the tourists with its scenic landscapes and abundant wild life. The most spotted animal here is the common deer, which is very friendly and lovable and they quite often come towards the visitor for a nibble. So it would be very enjoyable, if you take some eatables with you.

Deer Park could be visited on your trip towards Tirumala since it situates en route. This beautiful and well maintained park is functioning under the Tirupati Devasthanam authorities.

Sanjeeviah Park

Location

Sanjeeviah Park is located at the end of Necklace Road near Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad. The park has been named after Dr. Neelam Sanjeev Reddy, former president of India. It covers an area of 99 acres. The main attractions of this park are different variety of roses, floral clock, and rock garden (has numerous different sizes and shapes of rocks). The visitors can find specific high breed multi-coloured cultivar of roses.

Public Gardens (Bagh-e-aam)

Location

Public Garden is located in the center of the Hyderabad city. It was constructed in 1846 by the Nizam government. It is the oldest and the biggest park of Hyderabad. The important attractions of the garden are the Jawahar Bal Bhavan (for children to study fine arts), jubilee hall, state archaeological museum, state legislative assembly, Telugu Lalita Kala Thoranam (an open-air theater, which is the venue for many fashion shows, film festivals, and beauty pageantries), and the Indira Gandhi Auditorium.
