Keri beach also known as Querim beach, is a quiet beach located to the north of the Arambol beach. It is the northernmost beach of Goa that is backed with palms and casuarinas trees. The white sandy beach is one amongst the lesser-crowded beaches of Goa and is a serene and calm place to spend a beautiful holiday.

Across the riverbank one can also see the famous ancient Portuguese fort known as the Terekhol Fort. There is a ferry service available that takes you to Terekol every 30 min, except at low tide. From the Terekol fort the Keri beach has an exotic view.

The Keri beach can be reached from Arambol and there are a few shacks and restaurants that serve local fresh seafood here. Also for accommodation there are a few thatched huts.

Morjim beach is situated on the northern side of the Chapora River. One can see the beautiful Morjim beach from the Chapora fort. It is a nesting ground for the Olive Ridley Turtles. There are a number of beach shacks along the Morjim beach. Morjim beach is the chosen beach by Olive Ridley turtles for breeding. The nesting season is from November to March. Morjim beach is 30 Kms from Panaji and 20 Km from Pernem railway station.

Miramar Beach is the nearest beach from the capital of the Goa, Panaji. The beach is just 3 km from Panaji in the north of the state and a km away from Dona Paula. It lies adjoining the estuary of the river Mandovi as it opens into the Arabian Sea. Miramar beach is near the place where Mandovi River meets the sea. It is believed that if an arthritis patient takes bath in the sea during mid-May, the patient will emerge cured of pains. Aguada Fort is visible from this beach. Miramar beach is 3 Km from Panaji.

This beach is very calm and quiet except for the sound of the waves hitting the beach. The sand here is white and makes the beach all the more unique. Ashwem is 20 Km from Panaji.

The Goa Ashwem beach has its own idyllic charm and is quite appealing, as it is a very quiet and clean place. Even the waters are safe for swimming. In reality the coastline is one long, palm-fringed delight the powdery sands – usually silver, occasionally dusted Golden – only interrupted from time to time by inlets, estuaries or headland. Whether secluded and peaceful or broad and lively, they exist for all to enjoy for none are private.
