Madanant Temple
Situated 25 kms from Mapusa, this temple complex at Sal, Bicholim has beautiful natural surroundings. The three day festival of Gadens which begins on Phalgun Purnima draws big crowds. Devotees believe they can have the darshan of ‘Devchars’ during the Gade festival.

Situated in Savoi Verem, 12 kms from Ponda and 30 kms from Panaji, this 500-year-old temple is surrounded by hills and fields, areca nut farms, coconut and cashew trees.

Mandrem Beach
Mandrem is the beach is the most entrancing beach. During high tide, the beach becomes inaccessible. People around the beach have constructed a temporary bamboo bridge to reach the beach. Mandrem beach is 32 Km from Panaji.
The adjoining Mandrem village is where Suhas Prasekar’s organic farm is situated.

Pilar Seminary, Pilar
Pilar is a beautiful village in Goa, India, some 10 km from the state capital Panaji. It is on a hill top and has a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and the mountains all around. The panoramic view of the great Arabian Sea was outstanding with the village surrounded by mountains.

Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, Panaji
The Panjim Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is placed on the hillside and just high above the Idalco Palace built by Adil Shah. Standing on the gallery of the church, you can see the entire view of the lovely Panjim city. It is one of Panjim’s best attractions located in the heart of Panjim city and is the first church of Goa, built in 1541.

Chapora Beach is a coastal village at Chapora River estuary lying alongside a beach stretch in North Goa that is around 10 km. from Mapusa, a City in Northern Goa. It is close to Chapora Fort, an old Portuguese fort. Chapora is also close to a trawler-fishing jetty.

Carambolim Lake
Adding to the charm of the quiet village of Carambolim is the scenic reservoir fringed by lush greenery. Migratory birds seek this verdant landscape every year till the end of the season. The cacophony of 80 different varieties of birds is unbelievable, tending to their young in the mixed heronries on the aquatic vegetation. Jacanas with their iridescent colours and the spectacular purple moorhens can be seen delicately treading over the floating vegetation.

Candolim Beach (Mapusa)
Candolim Beach is among the most visited beaches in Goa, located south of Calangute Beach. The beach coastline stretches 30 km, from the Aguada Fort up to the Chapora beach. This beach is located at a distance of about 15 km from Panjim and faces the Arabian Sea.

Brahma Temple, Carambolim
7 kms from Valpoi, in the village of Brahma Carambolim, this shrine belongs to the 5th century A.D. It is one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma found in India. This temple reflects the ancient architectural designs of the Hindu religion. You need to drive 7 km from Valpoi city to reach the Brahma temple.

Carambolim also known as Karmali or Kormbolle for the locals is a small Village in Goa that is situated at about 12 kms from Panjim in the Tiswadi taluka. It is the first village one comes across on one's way from Velha Goa. It is one of the well known places in Goa due to the Carambolim Lake which is a well known birding site.
