The Secretariat Building is a prominent landmark of the Panaji City. The oldest building of the city is today one of the popular Panaji attractions. The Secretariat Building of Panjim is situated close to the Chapel of St. Sebastian.

Panaji's Secretariat Building is a classic example of Portuguese architectural style. However it was built by Adil Shah – the Muslim ruler of Goa during the 16th century. The Portuguese modified the structure to build a fantastic rest house for the area's viceroy.

One of Goa's finest creations is the Mae De Deus Church in Saligao, Bardez. Its illuminated view in the evenings and the nights has a paradisical charm. That is the best time to view this exquisite piece of Gothic architecture in Goa.

Originally situated at Daujim, a tiny suburb of Old Goa in the 16th century, of which today only the tallest cross on a pedestal is seen amongst shrubs and coconut groves. The church dedicated to the Mother of God or Our Lady came to be built at Bardez in the 19th century. The Saligao Church was inaugurated on November 26, 1873 and its foundation stone was laid on February 7,1867.

Church of Our Lady of the Rock of France

Church of Our Lady of the Rock of France, Brittona
This church is located at Brittona on the banks of the Mandovi River opposite the capital city of Panaji in Bardez taluka. It was built by grateful seamen who believed that Our Lady has miraculously saved them from the Plague. The original church existed in Lisbon and per decree of Pope Clement in 1754 this was one of the two churches outside Portugal to be dedicated to "Nossa Senhora de Penha de Franca". The church lies on a hillock and is distinguished by the upper section of its tower being octagonal in shape.

Dedicated to St.Ana, it is a remarkable piece of ancient Christian architecture, situated in Talaulim. Built in 1695 on the bank of the Siridao river, its unique feature are the hollow walls through which people could walk in secrecy for confession.

Corjuem Fort is a fortress situated 4 kilometers from the village of Aldona on the island of Corjuem, Goa. It was constructed in the year 1705 by the Portuguese. It is smaller than the other forts in Goa, but it gives a good view of the surrounding river and land.

Corjuem Fort is 12 kilometers from Panjim.
