Udai Sagar, a charming lake on the Berach River, was completed its construction in 1565 duruing the period of Maharana Udai Singh II. The lake covers a wide area of 10.5 sq. km and is being used for agricultural purposes. The lake has sufficient water inflow and maintains required water level for the use of Udaipur Region.

The dam sight is highly impressive and the panoramic view of Aravalli peaks is exciting. The lake is very calm and evenings are very pleasant. Inflow of visitors to this place is commendable, to enjoy the natural beauty and century old constructions.

Siliserh Lake is a wonderful picnic spot located 13 kilometers south west of Alwar. The lake covers an area of 10.5 square kilometers and is a fine spot for an excursion from Neemrana. The Lake palace was built in 1845 by Maharaja Vinay Singh for his wife. It is now a heritage hotel.

Constructed by Maharaja Vinay Singh in 1845 AD, Siliserh Lake spans over a wide expansion of seven sq kms. This lake poses as an imposing backdrop to the Siliserh palace, which has been converted in to a heritage hotel. With a splendid regal palace, the lake has an inspiring mix of breathtaking beauty and architectural charisma. This pretty lake is festooned with domed cenotaphs, which themselves boast of a grandeur in architecture.

The Pushkar Lake created from the petal fallen from Brahma’s Lotus when he destroyed the demon Vajra Nabha. The lake is no less than a miracle within the dry and arid desert. The lake and its numerous ghats are a place of hectic activities when the pilgrims, eager to wash away their sins, crowd them for a holy dip. The waters are believed to cure various ailments and have also been proved to contain certain chemicals that aid skin enrichment.

Close to Kankroli, is the dam, built by Maharana Raj Singh in 1660 A.D. Many ornamental arches and chhatris adorn the embankment. A dam constructed by Maharana Jai Singh in 1660 led to the creation of the Rajsamand Lake. The embankment of the lake houses numerous ornamental arches and beautifully carved chhatries (cenotaphs), along with some fascinating old inscriptions.

Toad Rock is a mammoth rock structure in Mount Abu hanging over the south of calm and cool Nakki Lake. This is the best attractive rock formation found in the regions of Mount Abu. This rock by view seems to be overlooking the whole lake. People can climb up to the top of the Toad rock and can view the panoramic beauty of the surrounding lake and greenish hilly regions from the top of the rock.

Sunset Point is a major attraction in Mount Abu, placed perfectly to the south west of the calm Nakki Lake to view the magnificent sunset. The eye catching view of the sunset, setting behind the forest ranges of the Mount Abu peaks is amazing for any nature loving tourist. One can get a spectacular panoramic view of the mountain ranges and the beautiful lake from this point. One can see huge crowds at this spot during evenings, to enjoy the multicolor sky and the sun in the horizon.

Nakki Lake is a very popular tourist attraction in Mount Abu. The Lake is known for its calm and cool atmosphere and set in the backdrop of picturesque hills. This has been credited as the only artificial lake in India at the height of more than 1200 meters. The legendary folk stories claim that the lake is carved out of rocks by Gods just using the nails.

There are some rock formations around the lake, which is an attraction fro rock climbing. Boating facilities in Lake offer an enjoyment boating time in the serene lake.

The Sambhar Lake is considered to be a wonder/ miracle of nature wherein a Gigantic Salt water Lake springs out of nowhere at a distance of 50 km towards west of Jaipur. This is India's largest salt water lake (almost 35 Km long) and has been providing the means of livelihood for centuries to many families residing in vicinity and make salt. This wide-ranging saline everglade plays host to thousands of avian visitors, some as far as Siberia, during winters. The Lake in unison with adjacent briny water bodies viz.

Kishore Sagar is an artificial picturesque lake dating back to 1346 constructed by the Bundi Prince Dehra Deh. It located by the side of attractive Brij Vilas palace museum. A cute palace named as Jagmadir is located at the heart of the museum. The enchanting palace is a red sand stone monument of the grandeur days of Kota. The reflections of the exquisite palace walls and domes in the azure water of the Kishore Sagar Lake are breathtaking.

Boat riding facilities are available in the Lake and tourists reach here will never miss this opportunity of excitement and pleasure.

Kailana Lake is a beautiful picnic spot situated about 11 kilometres away from Jodhpur city, on the road towards the desert city of Jaiselmer. This is an artificial lake constructed in 1872 by Pratap Singh, the Prime Minister of Jodhpur at that time. This lake is sprawled over an area of 84 square kilometres.
