A beautiful tourist spot along the banks of the river Ganges. It is a superbly decorated pavement studded with lights surrounded by lushy green trees. It is about 1 km in length and 7 m in width, and many buildings with historical importance surround the spot. It is very popular visiting spot of the local people and the tourists would love to stroll along enjoying the mild breeze and watching the small boats sail by. Along the strand are present Vivekananda Mandir(a meditation center) and a protruding structure into the river Ganges.

The first hydroelectric project of India can be visited with the prior permission of the WBSEB authorities. Jaldhaka Hydel Project is one of the foremost hydro electric projects in the country which serves as a bridge to go across Bhutan. The site is encircled by the walls and visitors are required to get an approval from the West Bengal State Electricity Board (WBSEB) authorities. Moreover, tourists can also visit the forest cottage which is located in Jhalong nearby the Jaldhaka River.

On the way to Bindu this place can be visited where a large area is under cultivation of medicinal plants especially Diascorrea.

14 km from Bindu. India's best Cardamom is dyed and processed here before shipment. Cardamom Curing Centre is located at a distance of 14 km from Bindu. Godak Government is behind its establishment and at this centre, the best cardamom of the country is shipped after these are dyed and processed.

On the banks fo River Atreyee and on the Balurghat-Malda state highway, the Patiram Thakur Estate is the old buildings of the local landlord which also bears the memory of the Tagore family. The Patiram Thakur Estate is situated on the Balurghat-Malda State Highway, along the banks of River Atreyee. It is one of the popular places of Balurghat and houses old buildings.

Close to power supply and coal mining areas. The Gupta and Biswas family were amongst the most prolific and successful people here.
