A number of tea gardens producing the famed Darjeeling tea are located in and around Mirik. There are eight tea gardens in Mirik area. Thurbo T.E., one of the best tea-estates, is only 2 kms from the lake. The factory may be visited with the permission of the manager.
About 2 kms from Mirik, situated on the spur, one can see beautiful orange orchards. Mirik is the largest supplier of oranges in West Bengal. One can also have glimpse of the village life of hill areas.

Cardamom grove: Cardamom groves can be any where near the marshy land.
Makaibari Tea Estate, 4 km, where visitors can see tea manufacture and buy the same.
The grotto houses the statue of Virgin Mary and is located in a beautiful surrounding that takes you to another place and time. It is a peaceful place and peace is what you feel when you’re there. Devotees light candles and pray to God here; it is also frequented by young couples because it offers seclusion.
28km. From Krishnanagar on way to Berhampore is Bethuadahari Railways Station. 1km. from the station is Bethuadahari Deer Park on NH34. From Calcutta Bethuadahari is 127km. by rail and 148km. by road.
Eden Gardens: Long association with the British enables Kolkata to boast of numerous locations remembered due to their association with certain individuals, like the Eden Gardens. The garden, as the name suggests, is where two sisters (one of them named Eden) related to the Governor of Auckland, spend hours during their leisurely strolls. The cricket stadium built next to the garden is also aptly named after the garden.

Ranked as one of the best Race Courses in India the RCTC plays host to horse races during weekends during Jul-September and November- Mar seasons. Situated at the heart of the city near the Victoria memorial the RCTC is an unmistakable sight for any tourist.
Morgan house, presently a tourist lodge run by the department of tourism of Government of India, is an erstwhile bungalow built in the British Period. This was the favorite home of a wealthy Jute merchant from England. This is one of the many British Bungalows in Kalimpong. The western architectural style dominates in the appearance of the building.
