The heart of Faizabad city, houses a clock tower (Ghanta means 'clock' in Hindi and Ghar is the Hindi word for 'house') in the middle of the city center. Nehru Nilaya is a glorious bungalow with a distinctive British style and arrangement. It was once upon a time a summer residence for Sir Markcubbon K.C.B who was the then Commisioner of Mysore. The SAARC Summit of 1986 was held in this bungalow. This Nilaya has now been converted as a guest house of the horticulture department of India. No one is allowed to enter the building.

It is the area where Yashoda is believed to have seen the whole cosmos in the mouth of Krishna at the time of rebuking him for eating clay.

It is a tiny islet close to Dwarka.
