One of the renowned centers of Visual arts, its study and research in India is Kala Bhavana situated in the grandeur complex of Visva Bharati University and is established in 1919 by Rabindranath Tagore, the world renowned poet and Nobel laureate. This artistic study centre offers diploma and graduate courses in many art forms including sculpture, painting, artistic design, graphics and history of arts. Marvelous facilities are arranged for the students here, collection of 19000 articles in a museum known as Kala Bhavana Museum, studio for visual arts, discussion forums and many such facilities are offered. Very good research is carried out in this centreby the students from all over the world.
