Sapt-Kund, Bhagwatgarh

Location

Bhagwatgarh is a town in South-West Sawai Madhopur, India. It is covered by a continuous series of mountains from south-west and the River Banas.

Sapt-Kund is an historical place. There is a "Shiv-Temple" and Seven Kund (Ponds). The famous shiv-temple is known as Arneshwar Mahadev.- now this temple under a trust. in the village is a famous keshavrai temple.it's have similirty with jaipur's govind dev temple.

Shri Mahavirji temple

Location

Shri Mahavirji temple is in Karauli district in Rajasthan, India and is 110 km from Sawai Madhopur town. Earlier known as Chandanpur, this small village became famous as a Jain religious site after an ancient idol of Mahavira was excavated from its soil several hundred years ago. It was then renamed as Shri Mahavirji. This idol was excavated over 200 years ago from the same spot, after which the temple was constructed. Thousands of worshipers flock from across India to catch a glimpse of this famous statue.

Naldeshwar Shrine

Location

The land of warriors cannot be spared by places of worship. The temples of Rajasthan are a class apart and the temple of Naldeshwar near Sariska is a masterpiece. The temple is located at some distance off the highway joining Sariska to Alwar. The temple itself has to be approached on foot after reaching the alighting point on the highway. The Naldeshwar shrine is dedicated to and houses an old Mahadev (Lord Shankar/ Shiva) temple. The shrine is surrounded by thick greenery and the walk to the shrine and the time spent in this pristine environment is worth every second spent.

Neelkanth

Location

Continuing with the temple pilgrimage the Neelkanth Mahadeva (Blue throat Lord Shiva) temple town located in the vicinity of Tehla, is famous for accommodating ruins of more than 300 temples dedicated to the Hinduism and Jainism. These temples believed to be constructed between the 7th and the 12th centuries resemble the carvings of Khajuraho (Chandelas). The temples are an awe inspiring example of the artistic glory that prevailed in the area even a millennium ago.

Pandupol

Location

A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Pandupol has a legend attached to it. It is believed that at the time of their exile, Bhima, a Pandava brother, took refuge here. The temple offers a magnificent view of the of the Pandu gate, where a flowing spring can be seen surfacing from hard and compact rocks.

Hanuman Temple

Location

Hanuman temple is one of the most popular temples of Sariska, India. Hanuman temple is positioned within the world-famous Sariska National Park. It is located approximately 11 kms from the main gate of National Park. Major highlight of Hanuman temple is the huge idol of Lord Hanuman. People across the country have immense faith over Hanuman temple. Devotees from all over the country visit this temple.

Brahma's Temple

Location

The only Brahma temple in the world is present at Pushkar. Though the Lord has a temple, he himself is not worshipped. The legend goes that Lord Brahma, desperate to perform a Holy Yajnya (Fire-Worship) at Pushkar decided to marry a local girl since wife Savitri was not ready to come to Mrutyulok (Earth). However, Savitri decided to check in on the erring husband and found him sitting alongside his new bride. Enraged Savitri cursed Brahma that he would loose the right to be worshipped anywhere else other than Pushkar and hence the only temple dedicated to this Lord of the Lords.

Rangji Temple

Location

The Rangji temple shines out reflecting the spectacular blend of cultures of Rajasthan. The temple has been constructed in South Indian style (though the mughal architecture peeks from a few points) and boasts of a high rising Gopuram which is very graceful. The temple is unique and is revered as the top three temples of Pushkar.

The Rangji temple is dedicated to Rangji, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Built by Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal in 1823, this temple has been attracting the pilgrims for its South Indian style rituals and essence.
