Angrabadi Temple Complex

Location

Angrabadi temple complex, placed in the surroundings of tranquil beauty and in a calm and peaceful atmosphere, is a majestic temple complex in Khunti, not far away from Ranchi. The temple was renamed as Amreshwar Dham by the Sage Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswathi. The temples are distinctive and enclose the Hindu Gods such as Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, Ram-Sita and Hanuman. Ram-Sita is a unique one worth visiting.

Mallooti

Location

Mallooti is a historical and religious place which is situated in Shikaripara Block on Dumka Rampurhat interstate highway at a distance of 55 km from Dumka District Headquarters. In 1860 Mallooti was made taxfree capital by the then King Basant Rai alias Basant. This Mallooti is associated with the archaeological and religious importal place for natural beauty.

Baba Basukinath Dham

Location

It is situated at Jarmundi Block on Dumka Deoghar State Highway at a distance of 24 km from the Distrcit Headquarters Dumka. In whole year lacs and lacs people from different parts of country come here to worship Lord Shiva. In the month of Shravan people of several country also come here to worship Lord Shiva.

Harila Joria

Harila Jori, also known as Harihar Jori, is a famous tourist attraction renowned for its Shiva Temple. Situated at a distance of around 8 km and 5 km from Baidyanath Temple and Tower Chowk respectively, the site is located on the northern side of Deoghar.

The Shiva Temple was built by Achintan Das and the site also has a huge tank, which is popularly known as Shool Harini Tank. It is also believed that the site also served as a place where both Shiva and Vishnu met each other.

Baidyanath Dham

Baidyanath Dham is located in the Santhal Parganas of Jharkand and is renowned as a very important pilgrim place. It is a very attractive spot for Hindus as it is the home of Shiva-Baidyanath temple. It is a popular holiday destination.

Baba Baidyanath Temple complex encloses the holy temple of Baba Baidyanath enshrining the Jyotirlingam and 21 other holy temples. The major temple of Jyotirlinga is a structure in stone with a grandeur tower of 72 ft tall. Lord Shiva is the main deity and is known as Baidyanath.
