Dhamtari

State

Dhamtari, nestled in the Satpura ranges, is bordered by Kanker on the west, Raipur on the north and is renowned for verdant forest reserves, untapped mineral resources and unique yet abundant, flora and fauna. The place has a number of dams and is Asia's first ever Syphen dam, built in the year 1914 at Madamsilli.
