This is one of highly profit making steel plant. Thousands of people are employed here directly or indirectly. There is an attractive statue of epic hero Arjun inside the entrance gate of Durgapur Steel Plant.
One need a permit to visit - easily obtained from the Administrative building at the main entrance of the plant during the working days.
