Aru is a resort village, located at a distance of 11 km from Pahalgam. Lying at an elevation of 2,408 m, this meadow leads to the famous trek via Lidderwat, extending to Kolahoi Glaciers (36 km) at an altitude of 3,400 m. Travellers visiting Pahalgam can reach this village by travelling on a motorable road or walking along a mountain path.

Betaab Valley, situated just 7 km up on Pahalgam, has got its name from Sunny Deol’s movie, Betaab, which was shot extensively in this area. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. There is a beautiful garden in the valley, with a bridge to cross the river. The Pahalgam Development Authority has proposed to develop this valley as a beautiful holidaying spot and is thus, carrying out several construction activities in the region.
A little beyond the temple of Nand is the Pan Sarovar, a large lake with masonry ghats along its sides. According to a common belief this was the place where Shri Krishna used to take his cows for water. Near by is the kadamb grove called Udhoji-Ka-Kyar.
The river which flow between Mirzapur and Vindhayachal is Called Punyajala (Ojhala) . It is said about the ojhala that it is greatest in all Tirth , as Ashwamegh in all Yagya, Himalya in all mountain and truth in all Brata .The Water of this river is as holy as Ganga river. Lakes - Kirat Sagar, built by Kirtivarman between 1060 AD and 1100 AD, has fine embankments with granite steps. Madan Sagar, built by Madan Verma between 1128 AD and 1165 AD, is very picturesque. Other lakes include Kalyan Sagar, Vijay Sagar and Rahila Sagar.

This is the hill where Guru Gorakhnath resided with his disciples. It has dramatic granite rock formations, with caves and waterfalls. The spot is ideal for climbing and picnics.
Located on the banks of Betwa River, Barua Sagar offers a delightful time to the visitors with its magnificient sceneries. This locale got its name from the beautiful lake Barua Sagar Tal, which is constructed by Raja Udit Singh. Another fascinating attraction is the famous bastion of Bundelkhand whose strategic location on the top of a hill protected the town from the besieging troops of the enemies. Made up of sandstone, this citadel houses the panoramic view of the reservoir of the Betwa Dam. Though in ruins this amazing citadel holds the attention of the visitors and it holds a large turn out of tourists all round the year.
