Gadsar Lake is located 5,000 m above sea level, in the Himalayan Ranges. It is considered as one of the highest altitude lakes in the Kashmir region. This lake is famous as trekking base, which can be reached through the alpine trek. Brown-trout fishing is a popular activity among the tourists visiting this lake.

Vishansar Lake is one of the lakes situated in Sonamarg that can be visited during the months of April through June. It is accessible from the Nichinai Pass, another attraction located at an elevation of 4,084 m.
Nichinai Pass, located at an elevation of around 4,139 m, is a trekking base. Lakes such as the Vishansar and Krishnasar can be seen from this pass.

Outer Circular Walk offers a beautiful view of the whole Kashmir Valley. Visitors can opt for this 11 km long walk amidst the grassland, while visiting Gulmarg. Surrounded by landscapes and lush green pine forests, the walk provides view of Nanga Parbat, the fourth highest peak on earth at 8,500 m.

Acchabal is a Mughal garden that was built by Shah Jahan in 1620 for his daughter Jahanara. The garden has been adorned with springs gushing out from the base of a hill. Highlights of this garden are the high chinar trees, lush green lawns and the springs. In the vicinity of the garden, tourists can indulge in trout fishing and camping activities. From the garden, tourists can also head towards the ruins of Martand.
Verinag is a spring that is situated at the foot of the Banibal Pass in the Pir Panjal Range. This spring is believed to be the source of Jhelum River. At the spring, Emperor Jehangir built an octagonal stone basin in 1612. Shah Jahan laid a garden around it in 1620. Water of the spring is known for its medicinal value.
Lidderwat is a beautiful camping site amidst dense forests, located at an elevation of 3,408 m. Situated 22 km from Pahalgam, this village is starting point of the trek to the Sindh Valley. Tourists can easily travel to this village via taxi, or can even take a pony ride.
