1km from Ganapatipule is the little village of Malgund. The village was home to a renowned Marathi poet calledf Keshavsoot. A memorial has been erected here in honor of the poet by the Marathi Sahithya Parishad (literary society).
Mandwa is 18 km from Alibaug. This place is close to the Awas beach from where you can see Mumbai's high rises standing on the shore. You can also take a bus from Alibaug or drive through Zirad to get to Mandwa Beach. Mandwa Jetty has benches on which you can sit and look at the skyscrapers of Mumbai.

Popularly known as the Peach valley, Rajgarh is a lush green valley in Sirmaur district. Rajgarh has two sub-divisions namely, Rajgarh and Sarahan, which is also a beautiful valley of Sirmaur. Rajgarh is a place of great natural beauty and is about 40 km from Solan. One can camp and trek in the valley. At Rajgarh, rest house of PWD and Forest Department are available for staying, besides private hotels and guest houses.
The people of this valley are dynamic and hardworking. They are religious and worshippers of Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga. The local Shaya temple of Lord Shirgul has a mammoth following. According to a legend, Lord Shirgul had first come to Shaya village and later settled in Churdhar Mountain at height of 12,000 feet.
Situated at a distance of 7 kms. from Dhaula Kuan, this town has a power house of 60 MW capacity constructed after diverting the Giri river through a 6 kms. tunnel.
The villages of Dodra and Kwar are separated by a few kilometers. Still unconnected by a motorable road, this pocket retains a pristine beauty. There are countless wild flowers and medicinal herbs, thick woods of flowering rhododendron, cedar and birch, waterfalls and fast-flowing streams. All this is set against a majestic backdrop of high peaks like the Sharangcha. The villages and their temples, are remarkable examples of local wood work skill and come packed with fascinating legends.
15 km from Rohru. Scenically enchanting, Chirgaon has a trout hatchery. Good fishing spots in the area are Seema, Mandi, Sandhsu, Tikri and Dhamari. Larot is another attractive spot near Chirgaon.This is the base for treks to Dodra - Kwar, the Sangla Valley and to Sarahan via Tacklech and to Nichar.
This is one of the entrances to heritage village Pragpur. Since ancient times, the Reru Mal family provided a water point for common use, the overflow of which falls into small tanks where the village people bathed and washed.
Still a cantonment, it has also got the remains of a Gurkha Fort.
A one time British cantonment, this small town is surrounded by pine trees and also has an old church.
