Sri Devananda Gaudiya Math

Sri Devananda Gaudiya Math: Sri Gaura Gadadhara Gaudiya Math, a scared temple situated at Champahatti in one of the islands in Navadvipa known as Koladvipa, was established by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaja. The prime presiding deities in this holy shrine are Lord Gaura and Gadadhara. This is an ancient temple dating back to many centuries. Recent renovations are carried out by Sri Paramananda Brahmacari.

Sri Devananda Gaudiya Math has been continuing as a religious hot spot thronged by thousands of devotees every year. The religious services carried out by the Math are really worth appreciating. The spiritual values imbibed by the Math to the devotes are praise worthy.

Sri Mahaprabhu Temple is found to be at Srivasa Angan. Srivasa Angan is believed to be the birth place of Harinama-sankirtana. This temple is in the premise of Sri Srivasa Thakura and is close to Yogapitha in Navadvipa.

There are mainly three shrines in this temple. The first temple is devoted to Sri Radha Krishna and Lord Chaitanya. The second shrine is devoted to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, during his maha-prakasa-lila. The third temple is devoted to Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai.
