Sachayee Mata Mandir

Location

Sachayee Mata Mandir, an ancient temple worshipped by both Jains and Hindus, is established during the 10th and 11th century. It is one among the Osian temple which have archeological, religious and historical importance. This prime religious attraction in Osian is dedicated to an incarnation of Gioddess Durga, namely the Goddess Sachayee Mata also known as Sachchika.

The specialty in the construction of this shrine includes a large assembly hall with torana-arches, eight numbers. The pillars on which assembly hall rests forms an octagonal shape and the temple faces west direction. A pancha-ratha sanctum, a mini porch and a foyer are enclosed in this temple. Sculptures of beautiful royal female dancers are placed on the 16 brackets surrounding the dome are decorating the ceiling of the temple.

There are many small shrines around the main mandir with deities of Lord Krishna, Radha and various incarnations of Lord Vishnu. This temple is attracted by many devotees to fill their spiritual benevolence.
