Pundalik Mandir, also known as Bhakta Pundalik Mandir, is located at a serene and scenic location at Pandharpur on the banks of Chandrabhaga River flowing nearby Alandi. It is a small temple enshrining Pundalik, the legendery figure associated with the Hindu God Vithoba. Pundalik is believed to have brought Vithoba to Pandharpur.
The temple is a monument for the devotion of his service to his parents. There are many lengendery stories regarding Pundalik and his parents. It is believed that Lord Krishna appeared before him to enlighten him and teach him the value of serving the parents. Thousands of devotees pay visit this temple annually.
