The love and affection showered by the first Prime Minister of India Jawahar Nehru was equally reciprocated by the children of the country. The construction of Shishu Bhawan in 1972 was a step initiated to carry forward the legacy of the great leader and provide a platform for the budding artists and children to assemble and exchange artistic views.
The museum is a mini paradise for kids and presents a humongous massive and an amazing collection of dolls from across the globe. Open from 1300-1900 hr daily, except Mondays, the Museum is a must visit especially for the sake of the little ones.
