Also called as the institute of Indology the museum has a library, which was established in the year 1984 and it holds admirable compilations of miniature paintings, stone sculptures, cloth paintings, bronzes, wood work, textiles, terracottas, coins, metal sculptures along with famous paintings of Tagore and artwork of Nepal and Tibet.
