Location
Located at an altitude of 3000 feet and extending for more than 193 sq km, Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is established in 1975. The wildlife sanctuary is the hamlet of many wild animals and bird fauna. The jungle forests are credited with invaluable woody trees and plant life.
The animals, which can be spotted in this natural sanctuary are elephants, tigers, leopards, barking deer, porcupines, sambar and sloth bears. One can experience the view the wild life in their natural habitat.
The vast forest land is an ideal spot for trekking expeditions. Many trekking trails are suitable for mild to medium trekking. A local Shiva temple add the attraction of the environment.
