Chintamani (pearl of thinking) is a structure resembling round stone outside the Tuljapur Bhawani Mandir. Chintamani is believed to be the Goddess who help the devotees to take right decision at right time. Surrounding this there are many smaller shrines dedicated to Matangi, Narimsha, khandoba and Yamee Devi.
The devotees offer prayers to Chintamani to have good thoughts and knowledge for themselves and also for their children. A grandeur styled palanquin with hand painted imagery of birds and animals is used to carry the Goddess in procession on Tuesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Full moon days. These days huge rush of devotees are observed.
