Location
Located at a distance of 50 km from Devikulam is the famous Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is the natural habitat for a number of species like elephants, sambars, leopards, and gaurs. You can also spot the highly endangered species of the Grizzled Giant Squirrel and the Star Tortoise. The watchtower is the idyllic place, which commands the incredible view of the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. Another highlight of the sanctuary is the Thoovanam Falls on the river Chinnar.
