Situated in the impressive ambiance of Sarabhai House, Calico Museum of Textiles, brings forth the cultural aura of fabrics. Its wide compilations of fabrics help the visitor in walking with history since the museum depicts different centuries through the medium of textile.

You can see the elaborate design, delicate artwork and brilliantly hand woven stuffs from all over India in the various galleries of the Museum. Kalamkaris, pichhwais, silks, floor spreads, bandhnis, tent canopies, patolas and precious brocades adds the glamour of this dazzling institution.

Among the various galleris, the Religious Textiles gallery displays traditional religious wares of the 15th century that are commonly called as the Vallabha Sampradaya. The historical textiles gallery tries to showcase the magnificence of Mughal sumptuousness. Apart from the unique compilations of clothing, the museum houses other article of timeless merit like centuries old frescoes, hand woven fabrics, designs, colors and paint.
