Near Azimganj is the fascinating Baranagar temple complex built by Rani Bhabani (1714 – 1793), the Zamindar of Natore. The Baranagar Temple complex is chiefly the creation of Rani Bhabani of Natore. The Bhabaniswara, Char Bangla, Jod Bangla and Rajrajeshwari are the main temples. The brick-built temples are considered to be amongst the best examples of Bengal Terracotta art.
