Balamuri Ganapati temple is located just outside the world renowned Kollur Mookambika temple. This small temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The Idol in the sanctum Santorum is beautiful and made out of marble. The prime feature and attraction of this idol is the placement of the trunk. The trunk is placed in the right; usually Ganesha trunk is placed at the left. People offer pujas at this temple with high devotion and belief.
Ganesh Chathurdhi is very famous celebration in this temple. The temple ambiance is calm and rejuvenating. The temple remains open from 5 AM - 1.30 PM and 3 - 9.30 PM.
