Location
Not to be confused with Bhagamandala (a town near Coorg in Karnataka), Bagmandala is little village on a beach ~4 kms from Shrivardhan. In addition to the beach, one can visit the Peshwa Memorial and the Bankot Fort here. It is possible to take a small boat from Bagmandala to the north side of the bay to explore the area where the Peshwas, or the Prime minister of the Maratha Kingdom, originally resided.
