Location
On the outskirts of Srikakulam town, at Arsavalli, is a Sun temple, constructed in such a way that the Sun’s rays fall directly at the feet of the deity twice a year. The temple where Sun is worshipped as a God dates back to 7th century and is believed to have been constructed by a Kalinga King.
Many people throng to this place for offering Poojas. This temple is known for health and wealth. The place is of great importance during festivals and special functions. It is just 3.5 kms away from the downtown of Srikakulam.
