Lal Darwaza Masjid

Jami Masjid or Badi Masjid
Jama Masjid or Jami Masjid or Bari Masjid or Friday Mosque of Jaunpur is a 15th century mosque in Jaunpur. It is one of the chief Tourist Attractions in Jaunpur. The Jama Masjid, Jaunpur was built in the year 1470, under the last ruler of the Sharqi Dynasty, named Hussain Shah.
According to the historians and other experts, the Jami Masjid, Jaunpur bear a great deal of resemblance with those mosques that were built during the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq of the Tughlaq Dynasty of Delhi Sultanate.

This was constructed by Malik Mukhlis and Khalis in 1417.
