Bhairavi Temple is situated at a distance of 3 Kms. from the Malkangiri Town.The hill diety of Malkangiri is worshiped by the people coming from Jeypore and People leaving Malkangiri for their safe journey.A number of religious visitors are attracted to this temple to worship throughout the day. The deity is believed to be worshiped by the King of Malkangiri whose castle's remnants are still found on the Raja Rani Hill just infront of Bhairavi temple. A fomous Shiva Linga is found in the near by "Goi Hill" of Malkangiri Town.
Ammakunda is one of the tourist places in Malkangiri District. It is situated at Khoirput Block near about 70 Kms. from the District Headquarter.This cool place embraces a natural water fall and subsequent flow of water forming a narrow gorge. The fishes found in that gorge are quite friendly to the human being and are believed to be the form of Lord Vishnu in " Matsya Avatar". Fishing in that place is not practised according to this belief of the local people of Malkangiri as well as the visitors. Visitors can enjoy their stay at this place by feeding the fishes.
The ancient capital of Jeypore estate, attracts a number of visitors to witness the Batrisa Sinhasan, an object of interest. The 1.8 meters image of Ganapati speaks of ancient heritage of the place. Located towards the southwest of Sun Temple, is the Ramachandi temple. It has been named after Goddess Ramachandi. However, there is lot of confusion over the presiding deity of the temple. Some people are of the opinion that the temple is dedicated to Goddess Ramachandi and this is why it is known as Ramachandi temple. But, there is another section of people who say that the temple is dedicated to Goddesses Mayadevi, the wife of Sun God.

Situated to the southwest of Sun Temple, Mayadevi is an important attraction of Konark. It is not entirely clear as to whom the temple is dedicated. Some people believe that the temple is dedicated to one of Sun God's wives, while there are some who say that the temple belongs to Sun God himself. The walls of the temple have erotic sculptures carved on them. Also look at the precise carvings of dancing nymphs, court scenes, floral motifs and hunting scenes that adorn the walls of the temple.
Konark Math is basically a monastery that is located on the southern side of the renowned Sun temple. It is dedicated to Nirakar Brahma and religiously follows the principles of Buddhism. The local people often address the Konark math as the Ashram of Samba, the son of Lord Krishna. They believe that Samba, who was cursed with leprosy, visited this place to worship Lord Surya and got cured. There is a fireplace in the math and people say that the fire has been burning since the establishment of the math.
