Location
Tamranga Lake is a natural lake that is situated in the Bongaigaon Region of Assam. This lake is also renowned as Tamranga Beel and lies nearby Bishnupur in the northern region of Salmara. Formed by the combination of two lakes, the source of its water is the flood-water of River Brahmaputra.
Besides, bird lovers can head towards this place as it is called the Ornithologists Paradise. Several migratory birds visit this lake throughout the year.
