Sri Mahaprabhu Temple

Location

Sri Mahaprabhu Temple is located at Srivasa Angan. Srivasa Angan is believed to be birth place of Harinama-sankirtana. This temple is in the premise of Sri Srivasa Thakura and is very close to Yogapitha in Navadvipa.

The temple has three shrines. First temple is dedicated to Sri Sri Radha Krishna and Lord Chaitanya. Second shrine is dedicated to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu during His maha-prakasa-lila. It is believed that during this period he got the divine intimation of being the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Third temple is dedicated to Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai.

Temple timings: 8.30am to 11am and 3.30pm to 8.30pm.

Sri Gaura Gadadhara Gaudiya Math is a scared temple placed at Champahatti, in one of the islands in Navadvipa called as Koladvipa. Established by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaja, this is an ancient temple dating back to several centuries, whose main deities are Lord Gaura and Lord Gadhadhara. In recent times, reconstructions were carried out by Sri Paramananda Brahmacari.

Sri Devananda Gaudiya Math has been progressing as a religious hot spot and is visited by thousands of devotees every year. The math performs many religious services that are considered as the main attraction, along with religious values imbibed to the devotees.
