Location
Nutan Bari, New House in English, is built by Swami Saradananda during 1915-16. This house is built to accommodate ever-growing number of devotees visiting Jairambati. This house is located at the western side of Punya Pukur, a holy tank. The house consists of four rooms made with mud walls and straw roofs. It is in this house the holy Mother used to motivate and initiate her devotees.
This house is a temple or Ashram like structure with facilities for the devotees to spend the days in peace and prayer. It is a retreating place for the people aiming to have secluded stay in Jairambati. At present an image of Holy Mother is placed in one of the rooms.
