The Club was established before independence when Barnala was a part of State of Patiala. Eminent personalities of the town, government officials and members of the Bar took keen interest to establish the Club. S. Surjit Singh Barnala and Sh R.S. Sarkaria were prominent members of the Club.
The membership of the Club has grown from just a few members to about 600 at present. Spread over about five acres and surrounded by lush green grass, the Club offers serenity with all modern amenities.
The Club has Licensed Bar, Swimming Pool, International Badminton Hall, Lawn Tennis Courts, Table Tennis Hall, Gym Hall, Card Room, Restaurant, Garde, and Basketball etc. The Club has been affiliated with many other renowned clubs in different cities. Our members are entitled to visit and enjoy the facilities of such clubs.
