Tuophema is promoted as the Ancient Heritage Village by the state Government. This village is known for its calm and beautiful surroundings, which attracts many visitors. Tourists visiting the destination are offered a variety of traditional Naga cuisine like ghalo, which means pork and bamboo, rice beer and bamboo baked fish. Of all the festivals celebrated in the destination, Angami Sekrenyi is most popular among the villagers. This festival is celebrated in from 25th to 27th February, every year.
