The Simhavahini temple is placed at a place in which Holy Mother Sarada Devi undertook fasting to get curing from an acute disease. Goddess Simhavahini is enshrined in this temple. The temple atmosphere is inviting. It is believed that Goddess Simhavahini appeared in front of Sarada Devi and her mother in the form of a back smith girl of 12 years old. The girl advised Sarada Devi about the remedial medicines for the diseases.
Sarada Devi constructed this temple to offer her prayers to Goddess Simhavahini. Many devotees visit this temple and offer prayers to get cure from all types of diseases.
