Mawthadraishan Peak

The Mawthadraishan Peak is located on the northern side of Nongstoin, near to the village regions of Mawroh, Markasa and Nongshillong. On top of Mawthadraishan Peak, there are around 7 to 8 fish ponds of average sizes.
Located on the northern side of Nongstoin, near the villages of Mawroh, Nongshillong and Markasa, is the Mawthadraishan Peak. The Mawthadraishan Peak is easily reachable along the main road of the region. There are about 7 to 8 average sized fish ponds located on top of the hill. The views from the top of the hill include Khasi Hills, Garo Hills and some part of Bangladesh.
