The Kamarajar Lake attracts birds from across the region. There is a walking trail along the banks of the lake, serene and calm to enjoy the lake’s pretty location.
Kamarajar Lake is truly an impressive sight. A wide variety of birds can be seen at this lake. It is not uncommon for bird watchers to be able to see such birds as peacocks, herons, cranes, sunbirds, kingfishers, and storks. In fact, one bird watching group that visited the lake was able to see 160 different species of birds over a four day period of time.
The best way to experience the beauty and the wildlife at this location is to simply walk around it. A well marked walking trail has been created around the lake just for this very purpose.
