Location
Kakching is one of main agricultural towns in the region and is the renowned trading centre for vegetables, fishes and rice. Tourists visit several temples in the region, including the Shri Krishnachandra Mandir, Narasingha Mandir and Viswanath Mandir. An area of around 100 acres is occupied by the Kakching Airfield, called as the Pallet Airfield, during World War II.
