Chandrakanta Handique Bhavan was founded in 1926, in the memory of Radhakanta Handique. It now serves as the headquarters of the Assam Sahitya Sabha. This bhavan has been under the control of some of the renowned personalities like Dimbeswar Neog, Chandradhar Baruah and Mitradev Mahanta, to name a few.
