Location
The first fort of Anandpur Sahib, the foundation stone for the fort was laid in 1689. Guru Gobind Singhji spent almost 16years in this strong and strategically located fort where the arms and ammunition of the Khalsa army was stored. The fort was almost demolished by the Ajmer Chand army in 1705.
